My Name is Joseph Drups

First, let me start by introducing myself.

My name is Joseph Drups.

Financial Independence at 30
Back in Dec of 2014, at the age of 28 I left my cushy but unfulfilling engineering job to pursue a dream of owning my own business. I built a digital marketing firm from scratch and I was financially independent 2 years later, at age 30. Financial Independence is that point when your business and investments comfortably pay for your lifestyle plus enough to invest.
I bought my first business at age 31 because I wanted to completely separate my time from my income.

Financial Freedom at 34

Fast FI is Born

Sure there were a handful of people who were selling courses on how to buy your own small business. However, these were mostly people who had bought one business and settled. There was no one teaching people how to buy and passive-FI a business to fast track their FIRE journey. This had been the key to unlocking my dreams and success.

This was the key to Fast Financial Independence and Fast Forwarding Financial Freedom.

I was passionate about building a community of investors, operators, and FI enthusiasts who wanted to drive in this fast lane of investing. That’s when I began putting together the Fast FI community.
